ARK/Conflict Textiles
Conflict Textiles, which is an Associated Site of CAIN, is home to a large collection of international textiles, exhibitions and associated events, all of which focus on elements of conflict and human rights abuses.
In 2023, ARK began a collaboration with Conflict Textiles and the McClay Library at Queen's University Belfast. This rotating exhibition comprises a selection of arpilleras and textiles, which is changed twice a year. Each rotation focuses on a specific issue, thus providing a visual representation of the topics explored in ARK's surveys.
