Social Inequality Resources

Questions on Social Inequality were asked in the Northern Ireland Life and Times (NILT) survey  in 1999. These questions were asked as part of the International Social Survey Programme.
Questions on Income and Poverty were asked in NILT in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Questions on Poverty were asked in the Young Life and Times (YLT) survey in 2007.

The Autumn Budget: Public Voices, Fiscal Choices (ARK Feature 21) by Paula Devine, Martina McKnight and Erin Early, is based on data from the 2023 Northern Ireland Life and Times survey.

The Other Division in Northern Ireland: public attitudes to poverty, economic hardship and social security (Research Update 146) by Sabrina Bunyan, Mark Simpson, Goretti Horgan and Ann Marie Gray, is based on data from the 2021 Northern Ireland Life and Times survey.
