    Katie Hunter and Alastair Wilson (Intergenerational Mentoring Network)

    This seminar, co-hosted with Linking Generations NI, explored the potential of intergenerational approaches to improving educational attainment. The event was held on 5 June 2018, in Londonderry Park, Newtownards.

    Patricia Mackey, Ards and North Down Council, outlined how educational attainment was one outcome within the community plans.

    Vicki Titterington (Linking Generations NI) highlighted the role and potential of intergenerational work, especially within community planning

    Alastair Wilson and Katie Hunter (Intergenerational Mentoring Network, University of Strathclyde) discussed the practicalities of setting up, and running an intergenerational mentoring scheme to improve educational attainment.
