Schools and youth projects are required to help young people have a better understanding of diversity in our society and to promote the equal treatment of different groups of people. This can be done through discussions, workshops, lessons or videos, but, also, through exchange programmes, including shared education partnerships in school.

Results include respondents who said Yes, in school as part of Shared Education, Yes, in school but not as part of Shared Education and Yes, in a youth project or youth centre, and excludes those who did not do any of these activities in school or youth settings.
