The Northern Ireland Social Attitudes (NISA) Survey was first run in 1989, as an extension of the British Social Attitudes (BSA) series run by Social and Community Planning Research (SCPR) which began in 1983. The annual NISA survey was conducted in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. (There was no survey in 1992 as there was a general election).

Tables of results, and links to dataset and publications are available for all NISA surveys - click on the relevant year:

For more information on NISA, see An Introduction to the Northern Ireland Social Attitudes Survey, by Gillian Robinson. Information on edited books based on NISA data is available on CAIN.
