Background to the Research

• This book resulted from a United Kingdom-wide survey carried out by the Labour Housing Group. It explores the ways in which housing can contribute to the 'Third Way' agenda of the Labour government.
• The contributors range from members of the Labour government to academics and they explore issues such as the connections between housing and wider society, the future shape of housing policy and the role of stakeholders in housing policy and practice.
