  • Northern Ireland Elections provides background and information on Northern Ireland's European Parliament elections in 1999 and 1994.
  • 'Euro Vision: Attitudes towards the European Union' by Sile O'Connor and Lee McGowan (Research Update 19) is based on data from the 2002 Europe module.
  • Questions on Europe were also asked in the 1993, 1994 and 1995 Northern Ireland Social Attitudes Surveys, which can be found on Surveys Online.

  • More data about attitudes to and in Europe can be found through the Eurobarometer survey, an ongoing survey on attitudes and lifestyles in Europe.
  • The European Values Survey is a large-scale, cross-national, and longitudinal survey research program on how Europeans think about family, work, religion, politics and society. The Survey is carried out every nine years.
  • The European Social Survey is an academically driven cross-national survey that has been conducted every two years across Europe since 2001.
  • Eurostat provides a wide range statistical information on Europe.
  • The European Commission runs an Office for Northern Ireland in Bedford Street in Belfast. Their web page provides a range of information about European affairs.
  • Europe in the UK is a portal for European culture in the UK, discovering the joys of language learning and for access to resources to help teachers, researchers, students and businesses.
