ARK Events

Previous Events

Since 2001, ARK has organised a seminar series, consisting of approximately 6 seminars per academic year, as well as other ad-hoc events. These events have been attended by a wide audience including researchers and policy makers from the voluntary, statutory and academic sectors, as well as journalists, students and members of the public.

In general, the guest speaker bases their seminar around a Powerpoint presentation. In addition, a Research Update is often prepared and a press release is sent out. From November 2006, seminars may also be recorded on video.

Where possible, all materials relating to events held since January 2005 will be made available on this page and can be viewed by clicking on the links below. In order to view the videos, you will need either Quicktime or RealPlayer software installed on your computer.
