    The coordinators of the ARK Ageing Programme are Dr Paula Devine and Professor Gillian Robinson.

    OPaula Devine is Co-Director of ARK, and is based in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, Queen’’s University Belfast.  Paula’’s research interests focus on quantitative research methods; measuring social attitudes; dissemination of social research; men’s health; masculinity and gender.

    Gillian RobinsonGillian Robinson is Research Director of ARK, and is based at Ulster University.  Gillian’’s research interests include social attitudes, gender roles, policy development in transition, and research methodology including issues around researching violent societies and comparative methods.

    Dr Gemma CarneyDr Gemma Carney is a lecturer in Social Policy, in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, Queen’’s University Belfast.  Gemma’’s research interests focus on ageing and citizenship, and community engaged research – specifically qualitative and participatory research methods.

    Paula McClean is a lecturer in Stratified Medicine at the University of Ulster and is part of the Northern Ireland Centre for Stratified Medicine based in the Clinical Translational Research and Innovation Centre (CTRIC) on the Altnagelvin Hospital site. Paula’’s research focuses on Diabetes and Alzheimer’s Disease and involves studies to understand the relationship between both conditions and strategies to improve diagnosis and treatment.
