CAIN: Resources on unification

CAIN: Resources on unification
CAIN is a comprehensive collection of information and source material on 'the Troubles' and politics in Northern Ireland from 1968 to the present.

The question of whether or not to hold a referendum on the constitutional position of Northern Ireland, intensified following the result of the Brexit referendum in the UK in 2016. Demographic changes in Northern Ireland and social reforms across Ireland have also had an impact on the debate.

The CAIN section on unification provides background information on this issue, along with links to polls, reports, studies, political initiatives and other source material.
