Launch of the 2014 Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey

The ARK Ageing Programme invites you to a seminar . This event marks the launch of the 2014 Northern Ireland Life and Times (NILT)Survey, and will focus on attitudes and experiences of ageism and ageing.
During the seminar, Paula Devine and Gemma Carney (ARK Ageing Programme)will discuss key findings from the NILT survey. Claire Keatinge (Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland) will highlight the importance of research in policy making to help make Northern Ireland a better place for older people.

This event will take place on Tuesday 25th November 2014, in the Canada Room, Lanyon Building, Queen's University Belfast. Tea/coffee and registration is from 10.30, and presentations will start at 11pm.

The 2014 NILT survey asked 1200 people across Northern Ireland about their opinion on key social and political issues, including dementia, ageism and ageing, community relations, and minority ethnic groups.
