Beyond the Silos: An "all age" approach to strengthening communities

The ARK Ageing Programme and INCORE invite you to a workshop to explore how an intergenerational, or all-age' approach can be useful in addressing social issues such as sectarianism, peace building and combating hate crime.

This interactive event will be presented by Dr Nancy Henkin and Dr Lynn Johnson. Nancy is Executive Director of The Intergenerational Center, Temple University, Philadelphia, and is a Visiting Fellow of the ARK Ageing Programme. Lynn is a practitioner with Linking Generations.

The workshop will be held on Friday, 3 October 2014 in Holywell-DiverseCity Community Partnership, Bishop Street, Derry-Londondery. The event will begin at 11am with registration, and finish at 1.15pm with a light lunch. The event is free, but places must be booked in advance by contacting Shonagh at 028 7167 5500 or info@ark.ac.uk
